Charting your growth

Personal development is an essential goal to have; but we fail to give it as much importance as it needs. While it is often seen as an additional task, little do many understand that it is crucial for growth. With growth comes great responsibility and vice versa.

Therefore, it is but vital to shoulder responsibilities that are a part of this growth curve. And, perhaps the best way to go about it can be explained as below:

  1. Network with people.
  2. Read & travel more.
  3. List major learnings each quarter. Identify a bench mark.
  4. Seek out opportunities – Volunteer, attend seminars & conferences.
  5. Up-skill.
  6. Reflect within – Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks.
  7. Strategize & plan the next 6 – 12 months effectively.
